Evening on the Range
Experience an exciting evening of adaptive shooting at Velva Wildlife Club! Try your hand at shotguns, bows, crossbows, and rifles in a welcoming environment for all abilities. Safety gear is provided, and personal equipment is welcome. This event is designed for ages 10 and up.

Adventure Camp at Triangle Y Camp
Adventure Camp is a family-friendly weekend event held each summer at Triangle Y Camp, offering Prairie Grit participants (ages 5 and up) and their families the chance to experience camp together.
Activities include swimming, arts and crafts, a campfire, climbing tower, horseback riding, and exploring the campgrounds. Meals are provided, including lunch and dinner on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday. Families can choose to stay overnight or attend as day campers.

Adaptive Fishing Day
Adaptive Fishing Day is an annual summer event held at Van Hook, ND, open to adaptive participants ages 5 and up. Participants spend the day on the water learning to fish alongside experienced local anglers. Fishing takes place from boats or pontoons, with a power lift available if needed.
In addition to fishing, the event includes contests, prizes, and time to relax at the nearby beach, picnic shelter, volleyball court, and playground. Lunch is provided, and families are encouraged to bring snacks, drinks, sunscreen, bug spray, towels, swimsuits, camping chairs, and life jackets.

iCan Bike Camp
iCan Bike Camp is a nationally recognized program that helps individuals with special needs learn to ride a two-wheeled bicycle. Over five days, participants build skills in balance, self-starting, stopping, and independent riding. This camp takes place at the Minot Family YMCA and is open to adaptive participants ages 8 and up who meet specific physical and behavioral requirements.
A parent, legal guardian, or designated adult must remain on-site throughout each day’s 75-minute session. Participants must attend all five days of camp.

Brady Samson Water Sports Day
The Annual Brady Samson Memorial Water Sports Day takes place each summer at Hahn’s Bay on Lake Metigoshe, near Bottineau, ND. This event offers adaptive participants a full day of water activities, including adaptive water skiing, kayaking, and paddle boarding. Space for water skiing is limited. Lifejackets will be provided if needed.
Lunch is provided, and participants should bring their own snacks, drinks, sunscreen, towels, and camping chairs. This event is open to adaptive participants ages 5 and up, with a registration fee of $15 per participant.

EASTER EGG Splash
Bring the family for a unique Easter egg hunt experience—right in the pool at the YMCA. Join the Prairie Grit Adaptive Heat, designed for children with disabilities and their families. This event offers a supportive and inclusive environment where kids of all abilities can dive into the fun. Each child will enjoy 5 minutes of egg hunting followed by 20 minutes of open swim time.
Each participating child will receive a prize bag, making this a memorable Easter celebration.

Adaptive Skiing & Tubing at Bottineau Winter Park
Adaptive Skiing & Tubing is a winter recreation event held in partnership with Annie’s House Adaptive Recreation Program at Bottineau Winter Park. Adaptive participants can take part in skiing, snowboarding, or tubing with appropriate instruction and support. Lesson sessions are structured to accommodate a range of abilities, while tubing is open throughout the day.
Friends and family are welcome to attend; regular lift and tubing fees apply for non-adaptive participants. Space for skiing and snowboarding lessons is limited and filled on a first-come basis.
