Adaptive fishing day at Van Hook, ND will be Thursday, July 11 from 9:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M. This event is for adaptive participants ages 5 to adult. Lunch will be provided following the day on the water. Please bring snacks, drinks, sunscreen, bug spray, a towel, a swimsuit, a camping chair, and a life jacket if available. Ages 16+ will be required to purchase a fishing license ahead of time. Participants will have the opportunity to go out into a boat or pontoon (a power lift is available if needed) and learn all about fishing from some of the best in the area. There will be fishing contests and prizes. Do note only 2 people (participant and parent/caregiver) are preferred on the boat with the driver. There is a public beach, picnic shelter, volleyball court, and playground near the boat docks.

Directions from Minot: go south on Highway 83 for approximately 15 miles, turn right (west) on Highway 23 (1 mile past 233rd Ave), turn left (south) on Highway 8, and go to the boat docks.
